“Here Comes the Sun: Songs of Hope” will take place on Saturday, April 30 at 7:00PM and Sunday, May 1 at 4:00PM at Patrick Henry High School (6702 Wandermere Drive, San Diego, CA 92120). Led by Artistic Director Kathleen Hansen, the chorus will perform an eclectic slate of songs ranging from traditional choral pieces and instantly recognizable rock ‘n roll classics to a beautiful, pensive tribute to those who have been lost to the pandemic.
With a blend of warmth, joy, and thoughtful remembrance, “Here Comes the Sun” showcases the diversity, strength and creativity of San Diego’s LGBTQ+ community and its allies—a perfect musical mix to mark the 35th anniversary of SDWC’s founding.
